The Atlanta Falcons are trying to keep the band together, bringing back Logan Paulsen to do a lot of blocking. The Falcons already have Austin Hooper as the unquestioned top pass catching tight end, Eric Saubert as the unquestioned top “who is Eric Saubert” tight end, and newly signed Luke Stocker as a blocker.
This move surprisingly adds another blocking tight end to the roster.
Paulsen may have only caught 9 passes for 91 yards and one touchdown, but he was a solid blocker in the run game and filled in at fullback late in the season.
