On Saturday morning, the Atlanta Falcons announced that they’ve placed running back Ito Smith on injured reserve and promoted guard Sean Harlow to the active roster.
This isn’t good news for Ito Smith. Smith entered this season as the backup running back behind Devonta Freeman, and had 22 carries for 106 yards and a touchdown. He honestly looked great this season until he sustained what appeared to be a concussion and neck injury against the Los Angeles Rams, which has now ended his season.
