The Atlanta Falcons have struggled to put together an above average pass rush for many years now, and this year, they knew they would need major contributions from young players in order to pressure quarterbacks effectively. Unfortunately, those plans are already being derailed by a major injury to a key rookie, which is awful news for the team and the player alike.
On Sunday, the Falcons announced that they’ve added outside linebacker Bralen Trice to injured reserve along with cornerback Harrison Hand, cutting ties with quarterback Nathan Rourke in a corresponding move. They signed quarterback John Paddock, previously reported receiver and returner Jakeem Grant, and running back Spencer Brown.
