The first preseason game is in the books, and the Falcons were back at it up in Flowery Branch on Monday, working on getting better like every other day.
We got some updates on injuries from head coach Raheem Morris prior to practice. Morris said that both outside linebacker Bralen Trice and defensive back Harrison Hand have been placed on injured reserve, and safety DeMarco Hellams is set to miss “significant time” with what Morris called an ankle injury. I am not a doctor, but my best guess here is a high ankle sprain. Hopefully Hellams heals up quickly.
