I don’t want to overlook Kaden Elliss, who had a resurgent game and got the game ball from Raheem Morris, and I certainly don’t want to downplay what Bijan Robinson did as the centerpiece of this game plan. Both were terrific, and both are deserving enough of the game’s most valuable player for the Atlanta Falcons.
But that award is heading to Kirk Cousins again, and for good reason. Aside from a fumble on a play where he was completely blindsided thanks to a pass protection error and fumbled, Cousins played a nearly flawless game. He did so without Drake London, who exited the game and did not return after his early touchdown grab, and he did so while missing on just five of the 24 passes he threw.
