Falcons tight end Jacob Tamme may be the most hated player in the NFL, but he also represents the most team-friendly contract on Atlanta's books for the coming season, according to ESPN's Mike Sando (Insider subscription required).
Tamme will count $2.6 million against the Falcons' cap this season, and he's coming off of a 2015 in which he contributed 59 catches for 657 yards. He did that over the course of 15 games, demonstrating durability with the exception of one game missed for a concussion. With another offseason to settle into Kyle Shanahan's offense and to gel with the rest of the Falcons offense, it's reasonable to hope for more productivity out of Tamme in the coming season.
