It comes as no surprise that the Atlanta Falcons have listed rookies Deion Jones and De'Vondre Campbell as starting linebackers for Sunday's season opener against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The team released its depth chart Tuesday, revealing the news. Jones, a second-round pick from LSU, is ahead of three-time leading tackler Paul Worrilow at middle linebacker. Campbell, a fourth-round pick from Minnesota, is ahead of veteran Sean Weatherspoon at weakside linebacker. Falcons coach Dan Quinn previously implied such would be the case without actually naming Jones and Campbell the starters.
