The Atlanta Falcons have one roster spot remaining, and I think I speak for most Falcons fans when I say that we’d like to see that spot filled by either a capable pass rusher or someone who can help out in the secondary. It appears the Falcons may be leaning toward the latter.
I say that because they’re reportedly spending time with cornerback Jerry Jacobs today, which could mean a signing is on the way if all goes well. Jacobs spent the past three seasons with the Detroit Lions, starting 29 of the 40 games he appeared in, and is fresh off a 2023 season where he posted a career-high three interceptions.
