The Falcons found a way to beat a bad football team tonight. That’s a relief [wipes sweat from brow]. Ahead is a much-needed bye week. The Falcons will regroup, get healthy, and try to salvage their season. But as is the norm, there were injuries tonight. Let’s break ‘em down.
Brandon Fusco injured his right ankle during the first half. He had to be carted off the field and looked to be in a lot of pain. Ben Garland replaced him and he was ruled out early in the third quarter. Losing Fusco would be less than ideal, given that the Falcons already lost starting left guard Andy Levitre earlier this season.
