The Falcons are now at 1-7, something that you may have heard by now. They have largely stunk the house out this season, which has turned the Falcons fanbase into an inferno of angry opinions and doomsday predictions, many (if not most) of which are now justified. The Falcons have enough good players to at least be competitive next year, but they’re gonna have to pull out some floorboards and change the wallpaper at the very least if they want to be more than an improved also-ran in the NFC.
One of the best ways to get this thing headed in the right direction would be to draft an elite player for this ailing defense, and right now, Atlanta’s on track to be able to do just that.
