Nate Landman was lights out in Week 1. Credited with four run stops and some solid work in coverage, Landman looked to be platooning with Troy Andersen in the early going, and his ability against the run made him a player the Atlanta Falcons figured to rely on.
Alas, Landman landed on injured reserve, and the Falcons run defense hasn’t been the same since. The past four weeks have seen struggles in that aspect, but the good news is that help may be on the way, and that help will take the form of Landman. The team announced on Monday that his practice window has been opened, meaning we should see Landman in game action in the next three weeks.
