The Atlanta Falcons have made their wave of roster cuts and now have 52 players remaining on the roster, with the team announcing the cuts in one fell swoop this morning.
There are very few surprise cuts here, with Sean Harlow probably topping the list, though we knew the former fourth round pick would be gone yesterday. The Falcons did surprise me by keeping both Matt Gono and Justin Zimmer on the active roster, meaning two UDFAs made this very talented team. That’s pretty cool.
