FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- Atlanta Falcons coach Dan Quinn said he has spoken with free-agent defensive lineman Dominique Easley, a former first-round draft pick released by the New England Patriots and a player Quinn coached at Florida.
Easley, who entered the NFL coming off significant knee injuries, was supposed to be a pass-rush contributor for the Patriots this season. But after the Patriots cut ties with him, reports surfaced about possible character concerns and off-the-field issues with Easley.
Quinn didn't commit to taking a chance on adding Easley to the Falcons. He didn't completely rule him out, either.
