By Saturday at 4 p.m. EST, NFL teams had to trim their rosters down to 53 players. This left a lot of depth and bubble guys being released from their teams and entering the waiver wire. The Atlanta had the 16th spot in the waiver wire process, and they put in at least one claim.
The Falcons claimed offensive tackle Timon Parris, who spent 2018-2019 with the Washington Football Team. It’s unclear if Washington intended to re-sign him to their practice squad or not, but it doesn’t matter because the Falcons’ claim was successful.
