FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. - Atlanta Falcons coach Dan Quinn ruled out cornerback Desmond Trufant, running back Tevin Coleman, and tight end Jacob Tamme for Sunday's game at the Philadelphia Eagles as the three players continue to recover from injuries.
Trufant sustained an unspecified left shoulder injury in last week's 43-28 win over Tampa Bay. He checked out fine after a second opinion and was listed as day-to-day, but the Pro Bowler did not practice all week.
"He would be somebody that, if we were able to and we felt good, we would," Quinn said of Trufant's playing status.
