The Atlanta Falcons have unveiled their initial practice squad, meaning we have a pretty good idea of who is on this team heading into a Week 1 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The team announced 13 players on the squad Wednesday evening.
Unsurprisingly, the practice squad is stocked with familiar faces, primarily players who spent part or all of the summer with Atlanta. That may change when they make their final three additions, but for now, it’s good to see summer standouts returning.
2024 practice squad

- WR Chris Blair
- WR Jesse Matthews
- WR Dylan Drummond
- TE John FitzPatrick

- OLB Kenny Oginna (2024 international player)
- CB Natrone Brooks
- CB Kevin King
- S Dane Cruikshank
Washington has been around since last season, but he looked like a much more productive runner and receiver in 2024 than he ever did in 2023.
