Last year, the COVID-19 pandemic led to the NFL making training camp and summer practices off-limits to fans, which was a huge bummer. This year, with COVID-19 cases in the United States currently (if perhaps only temporarily) trending downward, the league is going to throw open the doors to training camp to the public. The Falcons, as you’d expect, are embracing that.
The team announced today that they’ll be holding a public practice on August 7 in Mercedes-Benz Stadium, which sounds like a killer opportunity for fans to go see this new-look team and coaching staff in person in the place where they’ll hopefully be beating the Eagles in Week 1.
