Prior to Sunday’s contest against Washington, dozens of Falcons alumni gathered at the Philip Arena Taco Mac to reminisce about old times, meet each other’s families and opine on the 2015 team.
Among those in attendance was running back Jerious Norwood, who spent five seasons in Atlanta. The 2006 third-round draft pick relished the opportunity to catch up with friends and get to know those who wore the red and black before him.
“It’s a lot of fun. The guys that are able to hang out—they bring back a lot of old memories,” he said. “Now that we’re not playing ball anymore, it’s just great to remember the good days and good times we had together as a unit, as one.
