McClain, 29, has played seven seasons in the NFL, most recently playing for the Washington Redskins last year. In a rotational role, McClain recorded 20 tackles, two sacks and a fumble recovery for the Redskins.

The 6-foot-2, 302-pound defensive tackle appears to be a good fit for what the Falcons are looking for on the defensive line. He’s an upfield player who can make plays in an opponent’s backfield and could offer some production as a pass-rusher.
McClain’s most productive seasons came with the Dallas Cowboys, where he played from 2014-16.
