Falcons agree to terms on a three-year extension with veteran kicker Matt Bryant

FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. – The Falcons have agreed to terms with kicker Matt Bryant, the all-time leading scorer in franchise history.

The two parties have agreed upon a three-year extension, preventing Bryant, 42, from hitting free agency on March 14 and keeping him with the Falcons through the 2020 season. Following the season, Bryant said he’d like to finish his career in Atlanta.

“I am ready to play – I’ll play two-three more years in this league,” Bryant said. “There’s obviously some curious times ahead to see where those two-three years happen. You know I’d like to finish it here with this organization.
