FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. – The Falcons announced Wednesday afternoon that they’ve agreed to terms on a one-year deal with safety Kemal Ishmael.

Ishmael was drafted by the Falcons in the seventh round of the 2013 NFL Draft, and he has become a versatile piece for the team’s defense. Last season, Ishmael appeared in all 16 games for the Falcons, registering 22 tackles, one sack, one fumble recovery and one pass defense.
In his career, Ishmael has recorded 210 tackles, 12 pass defenses, five interceptions, two fumble recoveries, one forced fumble, one sack and one defensive touchdown.
