The Atlanta Falcons selected Billy Bowman Jr. with their first pick on Day 3 of the 2025 NFL Draft, marking their second straight safety selection after taking Xavier Watts in the third round.
Bowman is a ballhawking specialist who started 41 of 47 games over four years at the University of Oklahoma and was a First-Team All-American selection in a 2023 season where he had six interceptions and three of those returned for touchdowns. He was a Third-Team All-SEC selection in 2024 after the move to the new conference, tacking on another two picks to his resume.
