With the Falcons finally moving on from Dan Quinn and GM Thomas Dimitroff, a lot of talk has focused on the coaches that remain. While Raheem Morris will take over as the interim head coach, one name in particular stands out as untouched through all of this: offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter.
He’s been a lightning rod ever since he came back for the 2019 season and this season hasn’t been much better. The defense is bad but the offense seems to underperform nearly every single week as well.
To talk about this polarizing coach, Aaron Freeman (twitter: @falcfans) of the Locked on Falcons podcast joined me to dive deep into Dirk Koetter, the Falcons offense and why it was a major mistake to bring him back last year.
