FLOWERY BRANCH – Falcon general manager Thomas Dimitroff, who after signing running back Michael Turner in free agency has had a spotty record.
After wasting some money on cornerback Dunta Robinson and defensive end Ray Edwards, the Falcons shopped at the free agency bargain basement last season.
He signaled that moving forward, the team will continue to shop from the free agency discount store.
“Free agency moves, I think we’ve become more and more dialed in, especially with Dan (Quinn) to know what type of players that we are looking for (that fit) our scheme,” Dimitroff said.
