Atlanta Falcons linebacker Deion Jones had a phenomenal performance in a Week 14 Thursday night primetime game against division rival New Orleans Saints. While Atlanta overcame a 10-point deficit to win 20-17, Jones made significant contributions on defense as he totaled 13 tackles along with a game-clinching interception in the end zone with a minute-and-a-half left in the game.
Jones and the Falcons’ defense helped pick up the slack against the Saints at home as Atlanta quarterback Matt Ryan struggled all game long and threw three interceptions. However the defense’s solid performance was able to get Ryan the ball again late in the fourth quarter to make up for his miscues.
