Despite much-needed team bonding and a week away from, the Atlanta Falcons defense showed why it is among the worst in football as the Arizona Cardinals scored on their first five drives of the afternoon.
A week after giving up almost 60 yards to Deshaun Watson and the Houston Texans, the Falcons and Dan Quinn’s defense gave up almost 450 yards and 34 points to rookie head coach Kliff Kingsbury and Heisman trophy winner Kyler Murray.
Matt Ryan and Falcons offense was able to score on their opening drive for the first time since last December against Carolina but didn’t get much going after that until the third quarter.
