Dallas Cowboys secondary coach Jerome Henderson, who recently interviewed for the head-coaching job in Cleveland and the defensive coordinator position with Jacksonville, is scheduled to be in Atlanta Friday to meet with the Falcons, according to multiple sources.
The role Henderson is interviewing for is unclear. The Falcons currently have a defensive coordinator in Richard Smith, a defensive pass-game coordinator in Raheem Morris and a secondary coach in Marquand Manuel.
Manuel, like Henderson, interviewed for the defensive coordinator job in Jacksonville, but that position went to Todd Wash. Manuel is expected to remain on staff, although his role could be enhanced based on the outside interest.
