Prior to coming to Atlanta to become the Falcons defensive coordinator, Richard Smith was the Denver Broncos linebacker from 2011-14.
Smith’s time in Denver was mostly spent developing young players like Von Miller, who was recently named Super Bowl 50 MVP.
Following Sunday’s game, Smith’s former player made sure he took the time to show his appreciation for his former coach and his influence.
