There was some curiosity around why Falcons wide receiver Calvin Ridley wasn’t participating with the team at the start of minicamp, and head coach Arthur Smith was as vague as ever on the why. Now we have some clarification.
Per NFL insider Ian Rapoport, Ridley underwent a minor cleanup procedure on his foot, done by Dr. Robert Anderson earlier this offseason. He won’t participate in minicamp but should be ready to roll when training camp starts up in July.
