From injuries to bad attitudes, some of the free agents that the have Falcons acquired over time just didn’t work out.
3. Steven Jackson
The Atlanta Falcons 2012 Offense was so explosive, featuring Julio Jones, Roddy White, and Tony Gonzalez. However, runningback Michael Turner was declining, and the Falcons opted to release him following the 2012 season.
In order to give the Falcons offense the last push they needed to be more successful in 2013, the former Rams runningback Steven Jackson was brought in on a three-year contract worth $12 million.
Unfortunately, due to his own injuries and injuries on the offensive line, Jackson was never the bruising back that he was for the Rams for the Falcons.
