In the Atlanta Falcons’ 50-year franchise only four players have had their number retired by the team. Tommy Nobis, William Andrews, Jeff Van Note and Steve Bartkowski are the lucky four who have made it, but there could be several others in the very near future.
Every current NFL team has at least two players who are worthy of their number being retired by their respective franchise and the Falcons are no different. Atlanta currently has their all-time leading passer in Matt Ryan and the all-time leading receiver in Roddy White still playing for the Falcons as well as several other deserving players.
