Just three weeks ago, the Atlanta Falcons embarrassed the Saints in New Orleans 26-9, handing the Saints their second loss of the season. There is no doubt that the Saints are looking to avoid a sweep and keep up with the 49ers for the best record in the NFC with five weeks left.
Short turnarounds are never easy this late in the season. A short turnaround against your most hated rival at home on a holiday at least provides for something more than just another game, especially when there is nothing more to play for in 2019.
For two weeks, it looked like the Atlanta Falcons had finally figured it out, they realized what they were doing wrong and had corrected all the small issues that were costing them in big games.
