The No. 6 seed Atlanta Falcons are favored against the No. 1 seed Philadelphia Eagles. That’s due to the Eagles being without star quarterback Carson Wentz, but that doesn’t mean the Dirty Birds should take the flock from the north east lightly.
These two teams met last season, and the high-flying Falcons offense had fits with the Eagles defense. Since that time, Atlanta’s offense hasn’t been the same and the Eagles defense has only gotten better.
Thankfully for the Falcons, their defense also has improved. They finished the 2017 season ranked in the Top-10 in total points and yardage surrendered, which means this Saturday’s game could become a slug fest.
