This will be a very important match-up to look for in Monday night’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Desmond Trufant will be matched up with Jordan Matthews most of the day which will leave Robert Alford to deal with either Riley Cooper or Josh Huff.
If the Falcons are unable to apply pressure to quarterback Sam Bradford, look for the second wide receiver to be targeted a lot. That unless Alford is able to show that he has improved. Alford hasn’t been very good in his first two NFL seasons, but has shown flashes of brilliance at times.
