It hasn’t been the best preseason for Atlanta Falcons rookie running back Brian Hill. He’s rushed the ball 26 times for just 41 yards with a high of six yards. His average per carry is a paltry 1.6 yards and he hasn’t done much in the passing game — catching just one ball for four yards.
Simply put, the fifth-round rookie out of Wyoming is struggling big time adapting to the NFL.
His preseason won’t get any better either as he’s been ruled out following an ankle injury suffered against the Arizona Cardinals on Saturday. It was the home opener for Atlanta as they showed off their crown jewel — the brand new Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
