The Atlanta Falcons are coming off of an unspectacular season in 2014, finishing 6-10 and missing the playoffs for the second straight year. Although the 6-10 record was an improvement from 4-12 in 2013, Atlanta fell way short of expectations heading into the season.
Injuries on both sides of the ball played a role in the poor record, but lackluster play was also a big part as well. Steven Jackson is a shell of the player he was in St. Louis and averaged just 3.7 yards per carry last season, en route to 707 yards on the ground.
