Atlanta Falcons Legend Chuck Smith Hired by the Bengals

The Atlanta Falcons back in the 1990’s once had a stout defensive lineman who racked up 60 sacks in his career. His name was Chuck Smith.

Smith played high school back at Clarke Central High School in Athens, Georgia. After no offers were given, he played football for a junior college for two years before transferring to the University of Tennessee. He was then drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the second round of the 1992 NFL Draft.

Now, Smith will be entering a coaching staff as a pass-rushing specialist coach…. Not for the Falcons, but for the Cincinnati Bengals.
