The Atlanta Falcons may not have ended the season the way they wanted to after losing Super Bowl 51 in overtime, but they aren’t giving up. Head coach Dan Quinn is trying to get the team to embrace how bad the loss “sucked” as they try to use the heartache as fuel for the upcoming season.
Atlanta also went out and improved on defense by drafting defensive end Takkarist McKinley and linebacker Duke Riley. On top of that they signed one of the best defenders available in free agency in former Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle Dontari Poe.
