Atlanta Falcons faithful are fully aware that injuries are a part of football. Every week per betting guidelines, I mean per NFL guidelines, each team must release an injury report listing every player that is questionable, probable or out for the upcoming week.
Many coaches, like Patriots coach Bill Belichick, hate releasing this information and will put every player on the injury report. Falcons head coach Dan Quinn has never been that type of coach and the Falcons only have one player on the week one injury report – offensive tackle Matt Gono.
Why does a seemingly third string offensive tackle leave more questions that answers when listed on the injury report?
