Week 14 signaled the beginning of the fantasy football playoffs across the landscape, for most fantasy football leagues. With it, came a difficult matchup for the Atlanta Falcons, against the undefeated Carolina Panthers.
There really isn’t much to say about Atlanta’s performance this week, various adjectives come to mind: grotesque, disheartening, unpleasant, unacceptable, you get the picture. The Falcons were shut out in Charlotte, losing 38-0. It got so bad that the Panthers were seen taking a team selfie at the two-minute warning.
Logically, when a team gets shut out, they probably don’t have many standout fantasy football performers that week.
