Since joining the NFL in 1966, the Atlanta Falcons have put together a nice history for themselves. They’ve had 13 playoff appearances and have won their division six times. They also have been to the Super Bowl twice. During that span some good players have worn the Atlanta colors. Here we look at a starting team made up of the best all-time Falcons players.
Defensive ends — Claude Humphrey, John Abraham (Patrick Kerney)
In 1968 the Falcons selected Tennessee State defensive end Claude Humphrey, who wound up becoming the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year. He continued his great play for the Falcons until heading to Philadelphia to finish his career.
