The Falcons addressed their offensive line needs by selecting Eastern Washington guard/tackle Jake Rogers.
Rodgers is an athletic former tight end that will be a perfect fit in Atlanta's new zone blocking scheme. At 6-foot-6 and over 320 pounds, he has experience playing all across the offensive line at both Washington and Eastern Washington. He predominately played at the right tackle position, but was also plugged in at left tackle, left guard, and right guard.
One of the big problems with Rodgers was a knee injury that cost him most of his 2013 season. He returned last year and started every game at right tackle.
