NEW YORK - The “MVP ... MVP!” chant thundered down from the bleachers, the upper deck and everywhere else in the Stadium. It sounded like the place was rocking off its hinges. Soon it felt as if the entire tri-state area was lining up behind Aaron Judge, who powers the Yankees, destroys American League pitching and flat-out owns Hal Steinbrenner. Not a bad trifecta.
No one is more responsible for the Yankees’ success in 2022 than The Big Man, who came through – again – in a stunning 7-6 win over the Astros Thursday night.
