Nov. 3—Fans of the Atlanta Braves are enjoying a high water mark in the franchise's history, with the squad having reached the pinnacle of Major League Baseball this week, at the expense of the Houston Astros.
A season dominated by such names as Max Fried, Freddie Freeman, Austin Riley, Ozzie Albies and Jorge Soler ended on a high note Tuesday night in Houston, as the Braves dumped the Astros 7-0 in Game 6, bagging the Braves' first World Series title since 1995.
It was a wild season, some boosters confirmed.
