I don't know what to think. Swanson has not yet had a really good year offensively. There is no question that he has become an excellent shortstop. Last year he was doing well, and then missed a lot of games due to injury. He basically did nothing on his return. This year he appeared to be cruising to a good offensive year. Then, over the last 15 games he hits .190. Over the last 7 games he hits .069. 12 strikeouts in his last 29 at bats. One has to wonder if he will ever put together a full season of good offensive production.
