In his 14 MLB seasons, Geoff Blum played 885 games on the left side of the infield but was shifted over to first base and played 80 there as well. He knows how tough that transition was.
On Tuesday, Blum spoke with The Morning Show with John & Hugh about what the Braves might have to do to get someone at first base now that Freddie Freeman has tested positive for COVID-19 and the season start is 16 days away.

“Everybody just kind of assumes that first base is where you put your slugger that's going to go out there and drive you in 100 RBI and just catch a couple of baseballs that come over to them from across the diamond,” said Blum.
