The Philadelphia Phillies got the last word in a bitter rivalry with the Atlanta Braves with a 3-1 NLDS victory in Game 4 on Thursday night. With the win, the Phillies ushered Atlanta out of the playoffs for the second straight year.
In the process, the Phillies - breaking out in their rendition of “Dixieland Delight” - let the world know just how they felt about the Braves and the Mets.
“(Expletive) the Bravos, and whoever the (expletive) we play next, and always the Mets,” backup catcher Garrett Stubbs and a group of teammates sang to the popular Alabama song.
