Atlanta Braves third baseman, Hector Olivera, left Tuesday nights game in the 5th inning after being hit in the left elbow by a pitch from Tanner Roark.
Olivera was wearing his normal “old school” protective elbow gear, but the ball must have hit in a bad spot of the padding. He was 0-1 prior to being hit.

The hit by pitch would have looked a lot more serious had Olivera not be wearing the gear.
