Another sure sign that we are closing in on the start of spring training is the annual release of projections for the upcoming season. While not computer generated like PECOTA or other statistical measures, USA Today has released their predictions for the 2017 season and have the Atlanta Braves to finish with a 70-92 record.

Baseball Prospectus released PECOTA projections on Tuesday and predicted the Braves to finish 76-86 which is ahead of the Philadelphia Phillies and just one game worse than the Miami Marlins in the NL East.
