Brian Snitker provided an update on two significant injured Atlanta players on Saturday. Rookie pitcher (and home run hitting hobbyist)
Huascar Ynoa will resume throwing off the mound in a few days after breaking his hand punching a bench in frustration amidst a rough start. Ynoa was looking like a rookie of the year candidate through eight starts, with his devastating two pitch mix of a high velocity fastball and a good slider. Ynoa had a 3.02 ERA through 44.2 innings, with a 10.07 K/9 and a 3.17 xFIP that makes you believe the ERA.
